Portable card to help vegan/vegetarians to enjoy Japanese meal

When my Danish vegan friend visited Japan, he asked me to make a sign says “I’m vegan”. I made a very simple sign with only texts. He later told me that it was really helpful especially when he was in the countryside. Thanks to his idea, I created a portable card for foreign vegan/vegetarians who are in Japan, would like to enjoy Japanese food as well as others. The great illustrator fancomi drew such likeable rabbit and squirrel which hopefully help Japanese restaurants to accept their requests easily.

ヴィーガンであるデンマーク人の友人が日本に来た際に「ヴィーガンであることを伝える画像を作ってほしい」と頼まれました。その時作ったものは簡単な文字のみの画像だったのですが、旅行中、特に地方を訪れた時にとても役に立ったと喜ばれました。それをきっかけに、外国のヴィーガン／ベジタリアンの人が日本の食事をより楽しんでもらえるように携帯できるリバーシブルのカードを作ることに。イラストはfancomiさんにお願いし、うさぎとリスを描いていただきました。なるべく相手にいやな想いを与えずに、ヴィーガン／ベジタリアンの認知を広げる手助けになればと思います。
