Regenerative agriculture editorial design

I have been designing a series of booklets for the pasture-based dairy subscription product called Graze Gathering. It was launched in spring 2022.

The company that initiated this project, Utopia Agriculture, has created an experimental farm in Bankei, Hokkaido – in order to explore new ways of grazing. The subscription package includes eggs from hens raised here, and the milk and yoghurt from dairy cows that have been pasture-fed. 

Issue 2’s theme is “Into the profound world of grazing”. Illustrations by Asuka Eo. She illustrated cows living freely in her characteristic cool style.

Issue 3’s theme is “Sensing the ecosystem”. The illustrations by Ran Kobayashi made a difficult scientific topic fun to learn.

Issue 4’s theme is “Regenerative Restaurants”. The main feature is an interview with two people from élab, who run a restaurant with a focus on circularity.

2022年春より、スタートしたGraze Gathering という放牧による乳製品のサブスクリプション商品と一緒に届く冊子のデザインを担当しています。

このプロジェクトを立ち上げたUtopia Agricultureという会社は、北海道の盤渓というところに新しい放牧の在り方を模索する実験的農場をつくっています。ここで育った平飼いの鶏たちの卵、伸び伸びと育った乳牛たちの牛乳と飲むヨーグルトのサブスクです。

２号の特集テーマは 「「放牧」 の奥深い世界へ」。イラストは Asuka Eoさん。マイペースに暮らす牛たちをスタイリッシュに描いていただきました。

３号の特集テーマは 「生態系のセンシング」。小林ランさんのイラストによって、科学的で難しい内容を楽しく学べる紙面になりました。

４号の特集テーマは 「リジェレネイティブ・レストラン」。循環性に注目しながらレストランを運営する élab のお二人へのインタビューを掲載しています。
