漁業者のための洋上風力入門

対話と相互理解を促す冊子のデザイン

I designed the booklet titled “An Introduction to Offshore Wind Power for Fishermen”, published by Renewable Energy Institute. This project began as a communication tool to explore how offshore wind power could be advanced as a climate change countermeasure, while listening to the opinions of fishermen – pioneers of the sea.

To capture the authentic voices of fishermen, we spent considerable time developing the content by speaking with members of Fisherman Japan and people from regions that have welcomed or are considering offshore wind projects. Being present as a designer throughout this process was a valuable experience.

The illustrations are by Kenro Shinchi. He masterfully depicted what the region might look like a decade from now in a single image.

自然エネルギー財団が発行した 『漁業者のための洋上風力発電入門』 という冊子のデザインを担当しました。このプロジェクトは、海の先行事業者である漁業者の方々の意見を聞きながら、気候変動対策としての洋上風力発電をどのように進めることができるかを模索するコミュニケーションツールとして始まりました。

フィッシャーマンジャパンのみなさんや洋上風力事業を迎え入れた、もしくは検討中の地域の漁業者さんに話を伺いながら、時間をかけて内容をつくっていきました。その過程にデザイナーとして立ち会えたことも大切な経験となりました。

冊子のイラストは 新地健郎さん。「10年後の未来を考える」 というページでは、地域の今から10年後の様子を1枚の絵で見事に表現してくださいました。
